About Lynne
Lynne works within many styles, mediums and techniques - choosing what best conveys each subject. Her paintings include impressionist & realistic landscapes, cityscapes, visionary images, abstraction, still life, figurative & portraiture.
Lynne started out as a freelance artist, then worked as a fashion illustrator, photo stylist and advertising art director. She created, designed & illustrated campaigns for print, radio & television (earning recognition with several national and international design awards). Before opening Joy To The Wind she worked as an artist and designer for a global stationary company creating greeting cards and stationary lines for Target, Kinkos, Hallmark, Disney, Royall, Carlson, Craft, Masterpiece and Nuart.
Seitzer’s art has been represented in galleries across the USA. Her emotional landscapes are included in the US art in embassies of Georgetown, Guyana and her paintings , portraits and card designs have been collected throughout the United States, Europe, Australia and Japan.

The White Paintings
Although I call this series the ‘White Paintings’ they are far from entirely white. They do, however, convey a lightness in feeling and are punctuated with thickly applied areas of color. Compelling shapes are intersected by finely incised lines and heavy texture. The ‘White Paintings’ series is currently composed of a dozen or more paintings which are related by the nuance of light and color.
